Visited the cathedral to see the poppies and wasn't disappointed. Even though they are just a small fraction of the original number the display was wonderful. While we were there we took the opportunity to see Mappa Mundi. My only complaint would be that some...More

To be honest, Hereford Cathedral isn't the most impressive building that I've ever set eyes on from the outside - but once through it's heavy, oak doors, it's quite a different story. What a sublime and beautiful space to enjoy, whether you are religious or...More

A stunning cathedral which doesn't charge an entry fee (only a donation box). Cathedral close also beautiful and the city a lovely place to visit.

This is a stunning cathedral set in beautiful grounds. The "Weeping Window" poppies that are there until the end of April just add to its charm. ...they are so poignant. Loved walking around inside too.....so much to see.

I love the pillars and atmosphere here. On previous visits hadn't seen the 2007 stained glass windows commemorating Thomas Traherne which were stunning. Mappa Mundi and the chained library are well worth a visit. Friendly helpful staff.

There is disabled parking in the road in front of the Cathedral about 3 places each end of the metered parking spaces. I would say they about 150 metres from the main gates to the Cathedral.
