This is a beautiful church built in the 1830s. It holds the hand of Englands oldest martyr, St John Kemble in the reliqury at the top right hand side of the altar. The 14 stations of the cross are duplicates of ones made for the great exhibition of 1851. Beautifully restores a few years ago after it was ssaved from... More

This is a wonderful church to visit, and the history of local John Kemble , his hand is on show encased to the right of the main alter; worth half a day visit in my book, however the church is locked most days, need to book a time etc

An unusual church architecturally, but a nice place to come for a quiet moment of contemplation or for Mass.

Near Hereford Cathedral, this hidden gem is not registered by most of the public as they walk past it. Best to take in its facade from the opposite side of the street. Very grand and opulent in its surroundings. Peace and tranquility once entering.

The St. Francis Xavier's is a catholic church with a different architecture and color, looking very bright and joyful. The interior is in the same style like the exterior and creates a very nice light effect. The entrance is on the left side.

Even if this church is closed you can still view the inside from huge glass panels.A lot of money has been spent on this and it is well worth a visit. We live in this city but this is not our church.

Despite the rather peculiar outside paint, the inside of the church is beautiful and makes you feel a genuine connection with God. Lovely church.

Beautifully restored, the church contains a relic, the hand of St John Kemble a Catholic martyr, who was executed in nearby Widemarsh Common on 22 August 1679. He was beatified in 1929 by Pope Pius XI and canonized on 25 October 1970 by Pope Paul VI. His feast day is 22 August.
