Plesant riverside spot

The orchard is a pleasant continuation of the Abbots Mill Garden (see separate review). Unlike some reviewers, I have not encountered any troublesome visitors.

When I went this lunchtime, it was empty and I had the place to myself. It was lovely and quiet. Lots of pretty roses that smelled very nice. I was very pleased as they were quite rare as roses don't smell as good as these did. A joy! I didn't see or hear anything delinquent.

We came across this lovely garden by the river when walking into the town from the coach park. It was a very nice pleasant way to walk into the town centre

This garden is more free than most of the special brew crew and their animals. Dane Jon and Westgate are more usual haunts. So I've often found it a nice retreat - particularly on sunny days at lunch time.

Great place but ruined by foul mouthed drinkers and their dogs on strings. Beautiful riverside setting would be great for a picinc with children & just 2 or 3 minutes walk from the busy town centre. As usual the police in Canterbury only see what they want to.
