We started walking from Dover Castle and got here. It was a fairly long walk and at the end, it was getting quite dark, which was pretty scary. There aren't any signs telling you how far away you are from a road. Eventually, we went to the lighthouse and got a cab. Despite all this, the views are quite impressive... More

First things First - BE SAFE. Fall and you wont survive. Secondly, the white cliffs, the sea view and the greenery around would make you wanna stay there forever.

I can't believe I'm a southerner and have never walked the Dover cliffs. Beautiful views, especially on a bright and sunny day like today. Plenty of parking at the national trust carpark and the obligatory pot of tea. Best walk is east from the car park. It's couple of miles to the lighthouse and not too arduous if you keep... More

Nice hilltop walk which incorporates some good views of the cliffs. Although all the views are from the top and would have been nice to see views from the beach looking up to the top but we were told it wasn't possible to see it that way. We walked from the national trust carpark to the lighthouse. It was a... More

These iconic cliffs are well worth seeing. Whether from sea (on ferry or boat tour), or from land looking from Dover or the National Trust site, these spectacular chalk cliffs are a must see. There is a long National Trust walk from right above the Dover Port to the Lighthouse. The Dover Castle is nearby, and history and nature are... More

Difficult to review the cliff because they are what they are, the best views are from the sea obviously but it's a fantastic walk along the top where there's plenty of parking or if your feeling energetic you can walk from the seafront under jubilee way to the top. A good mustsee if your visiting the southeast coast.

I can't emphasise enough what a pleasant surprise it was to walk along these cliffs recently. I have lived in the area on and off for a number of years in my life and had not walked along the cliffs since I was a boy. It really is a beautiful place and a most tranquil experience. The history of the... More

Took a drive to Dover just up from the castle, follow the signs for the white cliffs. Here you will find a few car parks at different heights to help you get a great view over the port. Get out of the car and you can choose one of several walks along the coast depending on the time you have... More

My family and I visited the White Cliffs of Dover the first week of February. It was a chilly, windy day, but we dressed properly and it was fantastic! We basically had the entire area to ourselves and the rough weather made the cliffs and channel all the more majestic. This would NOT be a place for small children, as... More

We walked towards the light house, it was a really beautiful walk. Seeing the white cliffs was amazing. You have a Choice of paths, the left hand side is away from the edge.... however it was very muddy so make sure you have your walking boots on and a spare shoes in the car!
