It is very small - tucked away in a tiny barn, and easy to miss. The women need a bigger, better place to honour them... But for what it is, it's okay. Nice farm shop and cafe there too :)

about 8 display cabinets in a room 5 by 7 meters in size. what is there is informative and if you are into war history and near by probably worth a visit but it could be so much better if a bit more time and effort was put into expanding it a bit more. there are 2 small shops near... More

The museum was very informative but could have been furnished with more exhibits. The lighting was poor. A lot more thought should have been put into it. At least it was free and the tea rooms were superb!

we were on our way back to Folkestone, and decided to pop in for a look. found it very interesting and worth the time, not to long to see it all. They had a small refreshment area, excellent cakes and good sized portions, and the weather was good as well, but that's the luck of the draw.

While I was in Dover I heard of this and decided to visit. I loved it. While the museum isn't large it is full of good resource information on the Women's Land Army and I think they did a nice job on the display. It is free (however donations are welcome, so please leave a little something to keep it... More

The Woman's Land Army did a wonderful job, and they deserve a Museum, but if this is it, then it really doesn't give them the credit they deserve. Nevertheless, if you're in the area, please visit - it's free.

My husband and I visited this attraction as it was near to our hotel. It is on a complex with other businesses (a cider shop and cafe) so facilities are available around the attraction. The car parking and entrance to the museum is free. The museum itself is very small and could do with a lot more artefacts but it... More
