Beautiful sandy beach, ideal for young and old alike. Benches to sit on on the edge. Not tidal so sea never goes out or in (didn't go in as cant swim! lol)
Free public toilets very close.
Café next to it, fish and chip shops across the road, Shell fish stall nearby.
Saw a few dogs, so think maybe they are allowed.
Why would anyone go to Bournemouth beach and be crowded when there is loads of space here?

We enjoyed the day and will go back.

Public toilet is dirty and not maintained.

People leave lots of plastic toys, plastic cups and cigarette ends on the bech. Someone was litter picking but people should be more responsible.

The main beach in Ramsgate is a lovely stretch of sand which on a sunny day can get very busy. There are plenty of nearby cafes, offering food, drinks and ice creams. Shops also selling everything you need for your day on the beach. Lifeguards on the beach and it is an easy swimming area.

We are two families and we spent a lovely few hours on Ramsgate’s main beach. There are great nearby facilities including the largest Wetherspoons, with plenty of other eating and drinking places nearby. The promenade has been nicely updated since I last went (Admittedly a long time ago) and it had a Spanish style design that when you have a nice weather day you could be anywhere. Overall we were pleasantly surprised by Ramsgate with its charming harbour and little shops. But the only downside, and it is a bad one in our view, is the amount of graffiti/tagging everywhere, some of it quite abusive. Don’t the council care? I’m sure this can be removed quickly and be kept on top off and will improve the image of the town. Luckily my son didn’t see the prominent c words spray painted and the other various eye sore tags and images around the area.

Beautiful Sandy beach. Although holiday season is over on one of the fine sunny day of September we visited. We had the whole beach to ourselves along with just few more senior citizens.
Small kiosk was still open for business where we enjoyed ice creams and donuts.

Went to this beach yesterday get the last bit of sun for the weekend ends.

Lovely clean sandy beach . Lovely sunny day . Lots of families have a typical day on the beach - great to see. We walked along the beach back to Dumpton gap . Please note that if the tide is in - you will need to take the steps up to the cliff top. Lovely views & worth it . Not easy steps though. Definitely worth another visit . I think i would like to visit in the winter too .

We visited the weekend of the Queens Platinum Jubilee. The beach itself was nice with what looked like a gentle slope into the water although the sand was quite stoney in places. The nearby toilets were clean and there were plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful clean, sandy beach with fantastic facilities on the beach. People are friendly and a good number of restaurants for every budget. The marina makes this pretty little town giving it a French Riviera feel. Visited so many times and it looks better each time.
