This is a small micro pub . The owner really knows his stuff and used to organise festivals for CAMERA. The bear is local and is served perfectly. Each barrel has its own cold jacket and is served chilled . The bear is so clear...More

Just come back from a two night stay in Ramsgate and tour of the local mirco pubs in and around the area. Visited the Conqueror Friday lunchtime and was welcomed by Colin the landlord. Three ales on offer and I think three ciders. Small and...More

So pleased you enjoyed your visit. I know we are quite basic at the "Conk" but it allows us to concentrate, as you so rightly say, on getting the simple things right.

A small but friendly micro-pub offering a decent pint of real ale. I have always been made to feel welcome. Highly recommended.

This is a micro pub in what was a old shop slightly out of the town centre. It has a interesting choice of beers and was very welcoming.

This is a nice small pub but you walk through what is cellar and kitchen to use the toilet what a disgrace half the wall is missing plaster board and the rest needs a good clean

Ramsgate is fortunate in having two excellent alehouses, the other being the Hovelling Boat Inn. Colin, the landlord was very friendly and I was fascinated by all of the brewery memorabilia around the place. Super beer, even a Spitfire flew over ;-)
