You get the best view of Ramsgate from these gardens, which are beautifully maintained by dedicated volunteers.

approaching from the sea the first thing you see is very good water features (water falls). Going up the stairs to the main park you first see a small war memorial. great small park that overlooks the coast.

This is an oasis, surrounded by elegant townhouses, including The Albion Hotel, which is a lovely place to stop for a coffee, brunch, food or a cocktail. The gardens are well-kept by wonderful volunteers and very popular with dog walkers. There is a fabulous view across the charming rooftops towards the sea and a little bridge crosses the famous waterfall. A must-see on a visit to Ramsgate. All you have to do is cross the road (with care) and walk down the steps to get to the harbour - or carry on walking across the cliffs towards Broadstairs for more wonderful and interesting scenery.

Clifftop gardens with views over the whole harbour and south over Pegwell Bay. The waterfall and gardens have been replanted and with summer bedding just going in the place resembles the showpiece that it was in the late 1960s - well done the local council for making the effort.

The gardens now have new flowers in the central bed and the waterfall looks amazing. The area could use a couple more bins and some more litter picking tlc to the grass etc but a lovely spot to picnic.

Lovely gardens ideal for a walk through or stop and take a seat on one of the benches and enjoy the peace and quiet so close to a town centre. All looked after by local residents who keep it clean and tidy for visitors and locals alike.

What a wonderful relaxing place. It was kept looking great such beautiful flowers and shrubs and trees. These volunteers are doing an amazing job in fact we saw them working on it on Tuesday. Very relaxing and peaceful.
