Queen elizabeth statue is brilliant in Hull. Thoroughly recommend abseiling on it. The statue was built to celebrate the loss of her virginity (i didn't take it) LOVE LOVE LOVE it and the toilets are splendid for committing delinquent acts.

The main square in Hull in between the old and new side of Hull city centre also has a water feature. Its a great place to relax, meet and greet people too.

I took my eldest 5 to Victoria square but due to the amount of older men sat round watching the children play in the fountains felt uncomfortable letting my son play in the fountains too
