Since the city of culture , this place is always packed . You can find out what’s going on and there’s a lot at the moment. Got fed up of queuing so in the end I asked one of the volunteers who was very helpful.

The Tourist Information Centre is well stocked, staff knowledgeable and helpful: Hull was very busy because of The Gay Pride March, hundreds of extra visitors; but we received courteous and informative help.

The TIC arranged walking tour is a must. Without this tour we wouldn't have seen half of what Hull is worth visiting for. A great way tospend a couple of hours in a strange town.

We visited the new City of Culture in May to find most of it closed! The tourist info should be open all year. Everything felt as though Hull is just waiting for the summer to get going. YOU' VE GOT THE PRIZE AND THE MONEY...More

The staff are amazing so helpful but not in a pushy way. They supplied us with a map suggested places of interest and how long each would take us to get to on foot. First port of call for anyone visiting for the first time...More
