Went to Hull New Theatre to watch The Bodyguard 12/01/2019, it was amazing really enjoyed it and the cast every single one of them including the leading lady Alexandra Burke was just amazing. Well worth going to watch you will not be disappointed.

The building has recently been modernised and renovated and it is now an utterly wonderful theatre. There is a nice " before show" lounge area where you can obtain drinks and food. The acoustics are good and the whole place has a nice "clean" feel.

The pantomime Cinderella is absolutely terrible, from the awful unfunny shrieking Dame Hardup, to the mumbling Baron Hardup, from the unbelievable cinderella, to the awful -performance by Buttons. Horrid and boring, with no wit, not even from the ugly sisters. We have been going to...More

Been a long while since I've been to a panto but I can certainly say it was great and worth the wait! A real mix bag with something for everyone thrown in. Great audience participation and the set design was great! Great costumes and good...More

You'll be within arm's reach of the stage. It's more about the dude behind the mixing desk than proximity, though... Mind you, if it's Aggers and Boycs you're going to see, anywhere in the building will be too close if the... More
