The beauty of this walk is that you can access a challenging and very rewarding walk starting from the centre of Ambleside.

Fantastic walk - even in mist and rain

Have walked the Horseshoe many times in different weather conditions and although a hard walk it is very rewarding and you pick of quite a few Wainwrights for your endeavours.
