Good steady climb on good well laid out route. Climbed on hottest day of year so take plenty of water and snacks. Do the circular route via Goats water and into Torver and back to Coniston. Around 9 miles....5 hours to complete.

Have been on top of here over a dozen times and it's always worth the effort. The interesting industrial heritage at the front or the quiet amble from the Seathwaite side, both are satisfying.

Hi there, yes as long as the weather is kind. Make an early start and make the most of the daylight hours though. Obviously you want to ensure you get back down in the light! It is stunning anytime of the year. enjoy!
