This Gingerbread is the best ever and what makes it even better is that it's VEGAN. if you are in the area I would recommend a trio here. The only downfall to it is that the shop is so so small and sometimes the queue can get pretty long especially on a sunny day. However long the queue may be... More

Small but very quaint shop. Very popular with the tourists. Gingerbread is traditional but not everyone's cup of tea as it is very hard. Suitable let for dunking?

The shop is tiny so either the school kids used to be very small or they had very small classes. The gingerbread is excellent and makes great gifts.

As the title states it sells gingerbread what ore do you need.. on a serious note it's bloody good stuff. Bit pricey but its a novelty thing so dont mind paying for the one off. Staff really friendly. Worth popping in for a visit

I love the gingerbread from here, it's very traditional and crumbly. I'd relate it to shortbread. Every time we pass the lakes, we all always stop by Grasmere and take home some gingerbread.
