Fantastic gingerbread, reasonably priced - £3.50 bought six biscuits which kept us going over two walks. My boyfriend kept calling it 'lembas bread' - which for the less nerdy amongst you, is a Good Thing.

Tasty gingerbread served in the world's smallest and cutest shop! Friendly service and happy to answer questions. Right next to the church and Wordsworth's grave, you can't miss it!

Lovely little shop, very cute and a must visit if it's your first time in Grasmere. The gingerbread is an old fashioned recipe, and wasn't quite to my taste, so I wouldn't visit again, but definitely a place to go and see!

it's a tiny shop you can only get a couple of people in it at a time and there was a biggish queue to get in when we were there so I would probably say no to been dog friendly
