I live locally and so am lucky enough to be a regular visitor. Abbot Hall has a track record of changing exhibitions on the first floor featuring blockbusters (Rembrandt, Monet, Canaletto, Turner, Freud, Hockney, Rego, Riley etc) and wonderfully curated studies of lesser known but...More

Lovely works of art, especially given the previous owner's pieces that had historical significance to the exhibit.

For a small regional gallery Abbot Hall punches well above it's weight. Lovely permanent exhibitions, a fabulous selection of prints, and always a thought provoking exhibition. And a great gift shop.Easy parking.
