Dear Helen Thank you for your review. Just to clear a few things up, our coffee machine uses freshly ground coffee beans (done by the machine) so is not instant. The seating area is always spotless and regularly cleaned within an inch of its life....More

Fascinating history of the house and very impressive gardens especially the topiary. The rest of the gardens, while not extensive, are very interesting. Unlike other recent reviews we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch in the cafe and found the staff to be polite and helpful....More

Took my sister on her birthday for a coffee and cake,not disappointed lovely old place,good selection of cakes,and the meals coming out looked lovely only thing that let the place down were the staff.

Had a very informative tour of the gardens and learnt quite a lot! It is definitely worth a visit. Gave me quite a few ideas regarding planting etc.

Hello I'm afraid that there isn't any wheelchair access in the house owing to the large number of stairs and narrow doorways. The house is also grade one listed, therefore we can't install lifts. There is wheelchair access... More
