Lovely place to visit with a lot of history. As it is not far for me to get to, I do visit the grounds quite often.

We came on a late afternoon with rain threatening. Still had a brilliant time. Can't imagine how nice it would have been with more time and better weather.

After visiting the gardens take a walk along the river on the other side of the road. There you will see some of the most amazing trees I have ever seen.

The gardens are really superb. The topiary is awsome and it has the first known HaHa. The house is interesting and together they make a good day out in all but the worst weather. I liked the cafe which small but had a good selection...More

Easy to find and to park. Good welcome and explanation at the ticket office and a great welcome at the house. We all found things that interested us from the polished and shining furniture, the creaking floors to leather wall coverings and the views over...More

You can buy tickets anytime you like online. They don't need to be printed and so showing them to our ticket kiosk attendant on your phone is totally fine. We look forward to seeing you soon
