    Great day out!
visited while in the area on holiday. Looks very small on google maps however there is plenty to do. We started off in the animal barns ehich are full with llamas, goats, pigs, cows & alpacas. All look well looked after. Had a bit of time on the bouncy castle and the rabbit tunnels which went over well. We then had lunch while the little one enjoyed the soft play. Again, all well maintained and clean. We then went down to the large field which had a bunch of things to do including a very large slide, bouncy slide, park and of course, the very large maize maze. All very much enjoyed. Overall, its a great place to visit to kill an afternoon.

    Great family day out!
Happy animals and pets. Lots to see, plenty of imaginative activities for energetic young people with areas for small children set aside. A cafe with a good selection of drinks and hot snacks, also plenty of picnic tables Friendly staff and helpers everywhere. Hand washing stations were very welcome and well spaced. A better day out than any big theme park, highly recommended!

    Fab place
Despite the on/off rain we have a fab afternoon and the children got to go on everything. Excellent place. They loved the slides and water fight activity run by Harry who is a credit to the place. Chatty and friendly young man

    Fantastic Day!
What a great day! The farm is great place to spend some time. Every element of our day was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful, all the animals were tame and loved being stroked/fed, the indoor picnic area was ideal but the star of the show are the outdoor activities. Our group were aged between 10 and 68, with two teens 😬 but each of us had a blast. The mega slide and toboggan were a big hit and were used multiple times. The go karts, water balloon war zone and mini golf just added to the experience. We are all excited to visit again. Thanks Lakeland Maze Farm Park!

    Perfect family outing!
We just stopped in here for 2 hours as a break on our road trip and I wish we had longer to spend there. It is so well organised, clean, spaced out so it doesn't feel crowded or busy, SO much to do and the all the staff were really friendly and helpful. We are on a big 6 week trip from Australia....we've been to Paris (including disneyland) and all over Italy and I think the time we spent at the farm will be our 5 year olds highlight of the whole trip! Absolutely loved it!! A little bar outside for drinks and snacks would be awesome in the afternoon 😁 But I also loved that you could bring your own picnic!

A great gem of a day out that retains its family run charms
Easy to spend a full day here, with activities for all ages, and although it can get busy in the school hols, there is lots of wide open spaces so it doesn't feel as though you are on top of other people. Firstly, there are the maize mazes, both a mini maze and the main maze. The mini maze is about 15-30 minutes and the main maze can take anywhere up to 2 hours. The mazes are themed each year and usually feature stickers and puzzles to keep them interesting. There are plenty of staff on hand to help and you don't have to do the mazes at all if you are not inclined to walk around a lot. The mini maze is pushchair / wheelchair accessible. We did both the mazes and it was great fun. There are many other activities, split across two main levels. At the top of the site there is soft play / cafe and barns with animals for petting, a bouncy castle, go cart track and toddlers play barn. There are also activities here such as meet the ferrets, stroke the pets and tractor rides. There is also a kiosk serving ice creams and snack as well as the cafe which is indoors. We found there were plenty of staff even at busy times, and there was also a drinking water tap where you could fill up your own bottles which is useful for the maze. Then at the bottom field there is loads of space, and more recently they had added a tube slide (2 slides included in your entry) and also a toboggan run (as many goes as you like). There is also a water balloon area which is also included in your admission. What's really good is that there are lots of other activities, including a ring on a chain game which kept us busy for a while, a tug of way, corn hole game and lots of other things. There is a go cart track, trampolines, bouncy inflatables and loads more. You can also feed the animals in the bottom fields including goats, sheep and cows (although only the goats were interested!) I feel sure that whatever the range of ages you have in your party you'll have a good day out. It has a really nice family feel with staff that seem happy and caring and really want you to have a good time.

    Fun for all the family
I was so pleasantly surprised to get so much out of this day. I have to say it doesn’t look much and pics of it don’t tell the best story, but wow we were there all day, the staff were amazing. Picnics allowed. And so much to keep all the family entertained, we particularly enjoyed our water fight… the soft play area, outdoor park, maze x 3, meeting animals, cart slide and big big slide. Bouncy castle, air pillows. So much to fill our day. Thank you Lakeland maze for value for money great day out…

    Fantastic day out
I visited with my six year old son and what a fun day we had. We arrived just after 10am and left after 3pm, I had to drag him a way he was having the best time. There is so much to do from feeding the animals, to the maze, soft-play, tractor rides and all the activities outside and the best thing about it, it’s all included in the price. I can’t believe we havre not visited before, but we are looking forward to our next visit.

I had visited this place in the summer where if it is busy inside it is not an issue. However when the weather is not great (like today), you can’t expect to pay the money for not being able to access all the amenities. The money for the food provide is very poor and the food is over cooked. We are eating it out of needing to eat, even the kids complained the food was bad. The process that have for ordering food and waiting with kids in the cold tells me they favour their profit line rather than returning customers. Small changes even in these COVID times can make a difference when you here to entertain children and support local businesses. Not worth travelling too, this is nothing like Walby

The Farm and Maze are good fun few hours out for all ages, however the food service put a massive downer on our visit. We waited half hour for three items and they still managed to forget one item, when we eventually got the missing item it was still wrong. They don't warn you of the wait time when you order and from looking at other reviews and the frustrated people around us in the queue, its not just us who experienced this. Surely there is a better way to handle this system? It's a massive shame as we were really enjoying our day until this. Would definitely recommend taking your own refreshments if allowed.

Absolutely gobsmacked. Took my 2 kids there, wasn’t given a reciept on entry. Then told i can’t have a refund because i’ve no reciept. Barely any animals. Go karts outside broken. Cafe £7 for a sandwich. Kids smushing ive cream into everything and was all sticky. Footballs looked like a dog had been playing with them for weeks. Manager was nothing but rude. Said the kids could get a toy each as compensation then upset my daughter and made her cry by telling her the one she wanted was too expensive. Fuming. Left my contact number but doubt i’ll hear anything when her attitude was so poor. There was even part of the roof falling off outside the entrance. Not worth £10 a person. Absolute rip off

Me and my family really enjoyed this trip there were lots of different activities for all ages. There was a football net with holes to shoot in, which my son enjoyed. There are two bouncy pillows one for older ages and one for younger children, the pillows were not very busy so there was a lot of room to bounce around. There is also mini golf , trampolines, a maze ( when in season) ,a playground and a slide which was really good fun. You get a wrist band when you enter which the person at the top of the slide ticks, you get two goes of the slide with that wrist band however you can buy more. However I do have a few complaints firstly another two people from my family group came separately to us and did not receive a wrist band which they did not realize until later on when we were all lining up to get on the slide. They went to the entrance but there was no one there. This was really unfair for them and they missed out on one of the main attractions. My second complaint was that there was a a badminton 🏸 net however there was only one rachet and no shuttlecock. After waiting 20 minutes in the ice cream 🍦 queue the portion was frankly laughable it looked like it had been scooped with a tea spoon! and was gone in a few mouthfuls. However overall this was a really fun experience and have returned many times before this occasion I definitely recommend, and this is great value for money. 😊

Took my 8yr old and 10yr old. Spent 7 hours there and made the most of it. Went round the maze twice whilst there, and with so much else to do we were never short of options. Despite it being quite busy in the middle of the day, the only thing we had to queue for all day was some ice cream and even then it was only a couple of minutes. Staff were really friendly - shout out to Tom who we encountered a few times during our day and he was very kind and informative of what was going on and where we might go next. The kids loved the bouncy thing, trampolines, mazes, and especially the animals. Not often I can get them to walk 4miles and exercise all day and still finish with a smile on their faces! Mini golf could do with a bit of tlc, but honestly overall this was by far the best day out we’ve had this summer so far, good value for money and just right for what we wanted. Loved it.

Positives - There is a lot to do in terms of activities, mega slide was good fun (but you only get 2 goes included), food was good and reasonably priced.

Negatives - Farm activities were poor, pets corner had a rabbit and 2 guinea pigs that you could stroke but not hold, ferret talk was not a talk about the ferrets but a guy holding the animals to stroke then putting them down, the tractor ride didn't show any animals or through the fields it was just a few minutes in a small loop, didn't see any cows, groom a pony had no structure and people were just pushing in no order and you were behind a barrier not in with the ponies.

Personal experience - There was an incident that left me rather annoyed, so a word of warning...we took part in the build a bear activity, costs extra but was an okay experience for the kids, so didn't mind. Son went outside to play football with my husband after the activity group. Me and my daughter stayed in the cafe. My daughter decided she wanted clothes for her bear that she had made, so we went up to get clothes. Got to the till and the lady asked if we had paid for the teddy, I said we had as we did it in the group with Amy. She then shouted across to her colleagues, in front of a busy cafe did anyone see this lady pay for the teddy. I was mortified! But that's more just a, keep your receipt handy warning to others, to avoid embarrassment.

All in all, it was okay, the extras that are offered are far better than the actual farm activities, but cost extra. Would suit more of a good weather day as some outdoor activities close in the rain. Sadly, I don't think we would return, unless you could get a day pass for the mega slide...

A great day out for families with children. Plenty rides including swings, trampolines, slides and the Maze itself. Should the weather be poor there are things to do inside with a softplay, a small climbing wall for children, go-karts and a few other things. There are farm animals to view as well, plus a tractor ride. All in all this is an unpretentious day out for families with kids from 4 to 14 I'd say, which is not too vast and not too pricey. I've been with my grandkids 4 times and will keep going back. It also has a reasonably priced cafe and a small souvenir shop.

Elements of this place are very good. We really enjoyed the maize maze and my kids love the slides and meeting the animals. The staff who gave the talks and cared for the animals were lovely and very informative.

We went on Tuesday and it rained all day which meant a number of the outdoor activities were closed. This wasn’t made clear to us at the time of the booking and if this was the case I would have expected the park owners to provide a slight discount for a reduced offering.

We have been to a number of similar places before and in other locations here are lots of things to do inside if the weather is poor. However the internal elements of this park were poor and only really catered for very small children.

For the amount we paid I expected better and this park isn’t as good as other similar places that we have been too.

Found this online when planning a family holiday - super day out!! There was so much to see and do that we didn't get round to it all. The outdoor play area is fabulous, and we were able to take in folding chairs - especially helpful for my 29 week pregnant daughter! 6 year old, plus Grandad, enjoyed the maze and the 3 year old loved the fire engine. Everything felt very safe and well organised.
The cafe gets very busy, so might be worth eating outside of the typical lunchtime rush - or take a picnic? Plenty of picnic tables adjacent to the main play area.
There is also plenty to do indoors, including soft play and bouncy castle, animals to feed etc. Would recommend to anyone with young children.
