Two people behind bar. Seven locals. Only one beer in tap. Overpriced drinks. Filthy threadbare carpet. Nothing nice to say about this place.

A pit stop on the way back to the Beech Hotel. Friendly little pub, good Black Sheep bitter for my other half and jack rabbit vino for me. Enough said . Quiet , unpretentious and good value.

Popped in here last night "for just the one" and ended up staying there for a couple more. Landlord and landlady very friendly and welcoming, dog friendly and a lovely real log fire. Will definitely return when we visit Kendal again.
