Fab place, fantastic factual tour around the mine I learned so much even at the age of 36!! Children found it fun and the guide aimed the information to all ages. The train ride was novel.

unfortunately when on a damp day but did not spoil our enjoyment. lovely little narrow gauge trip in to quarry - not much to see in quarry but what do you expect for modest cost.

A simple yet brilliant museum , this place is sensational and a must visit. The activities are great for children and the site is interesting and in a stunning location. The museum is a very basic its presentation but is brilliant!

They have a price list out the front. The above answer is vaguely correct. You don't have to do everything. We just did the museum and tour. Be sure to phone ahead to book your place on the tour as it does sell out!

Yes, its a lovely place to explore with a dog. The site is quite open and has plenty of space to roam.
