Great boats and tour. Easy hop on and off for short or long walks. I was impressed with extent of this. Perhaps regrettably there is no commentary.

We had planned to drive from our Keswick hotel to hike Catbells but the innkeeper strongly advised against it due to parking issues at the trailhead. She told us to use the launch instead and we're so glad we did. This gave us some nice...More

It is a lovely cruise around Derwentwater and a great way to experience the lovely lake. The views, whatever the weather, are spectacular. This is a very popular activity and one I can highly recommend.

We took the launch from Lodore back to Keswick after walking part way round the lake. We had our dog with us and she was welcome on the boat. The ride was great through stunning scenery. A relaxing way to enjoy the scenery of Derwent...More

This is a lovely way to explore a beautiful part of the country. I’ve read some other reviews and I agree that it is a basic service and quite expensive. However, as a family treat in peak-season in one of the busiest parts of the...More

Brilliant, inexpensive, safe, plenty of seats. What a way to see the sights from a different perspective. Well worth the £6 and 50 minutes.

Their brochure and their ticket office clearly state that the boats stop at all marked stops, weather permitting, so in perfect weather we arranged to meet friends at stop 7, Lingholm estate. We were then turfed off the boat one stop early and told we...More

This trip goes right around Derwentwater stopping off at various jetties along the way. Super on a sunny day with outside and inside seating when it rains.

Hi, We only got off at Nichol End and walked back to Lingholm for the cafe. That section is fine with a buggy. At Keswick you can walk along the side of the lake to the view point I'm afraid I can't comment on the others... More
