Took my grandson to see this having checked website. Nowhere did it say the "experience" was closed. Went to tourist information centre who confirmed it had closed down. So no point in going to see it.

This place is still getting started, so it might not be up to the standard of other attractions in the area. The owner is very enthusiastic though, and was chatting away with our 10 year old who's dino mad. There's not a lot to do, but it's a nice place to visit, especially if your kids are into dinosaurs.

Cost us £12 for 3 adults & a 4 year old. Visited one sat in November on a wet miserable day. Very disappointed - a few models of dinosaurs/posters, the building was freezing cold a drawing section for the kids and thats it really. Not worth £12.

We went to keswick last sunday me and my son and as we were walking from the car park to the town centre we came across the keswick dinosaur and raptor experience. I was told by a very enthusiastic four year old that we had to go in as he's dinosaur mad. Once inside we were greated by the owner... More

My 15 year old daughter and I visited the Keswick Dinosaur and Raptor Experience www.keswickdino.com during a wet and windy day in the October half term. It is situated in Otley road and has a large round sign outside it is where the old Mining Museum used to be which closed due to the retirement of the owner Ian Tyler.... More

Took my 3 year old and my 20 month old, and my Mum. Had to pay £8 in total for the adults. We had seen everything in around 15 minutes! Basically a few plastic dinosaurs, dilapidated building, and like the reviews say, some random owls! Nice staff, and quite a nice colouring room with a few good ideas of drawing... More

Great location/parking (next to main car park), warm welcoming, good sculptures and interesting facts leading to a overall super experience esoecially the live birds on display(especially oscar the owl)

A few plastic dinosaur models and a colouring sheet. Made the pencil museum look like Disney land. Oh, and for no clear reason there was an owl.

Found this by accident. We had our 4 year old grandson with us who saw dino bones through the window so we had to go in. Small collection/exhibition but very informative. Grandson is dino daft so he loved it. Chap who runs it seems passionate about the subject and seems great with kids. Loads to see and do. There was... More
