Full of lovely shops, resturants, gift shops and cafes, a real treat to wander round in the good weather, I suspect not so much fun when it rains, which it can in Lakeland.

Parking in or around the actual street is never easy. Better to drive through the town to the Lakeside where there are a couple of bigger car parks and walk back.

Yes there is a Trespass shop on lake road in Windermere and I am sure there are several other outdoors supplies shops in the area as there are so many activities carried out in the areas
