The first major attraction in Blackpool opened in Victorian times. The arcade is grotty and run down as is the rest of the pier structure. A huge amount of money and time will be needed to get this pier back to its former glory but...More

It was a lovely warm day , nice view from pier. Had a drink at the bar which was good but the pier as a whole needs work. Understand that decorating is on going and am sure once it is completed it will be amazing.

We went for an ice cream and a ride on the train. £1 each till the end of the pier. Less to see and do than the central pier. Still we enjoyed

Not a lot on this pier now as it used to be the best of the three piers. There is a theatre at the end of this pier but we didnt go to it this visit.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Is the old penny arcade back (at the beginning of the pier, opposite the fortune teller)? We found it by surprise a few years ago in 2012 and loved it despite some of the machines not working but for the past few years, it's not been there.

Oh no! We're going on Sunday for my daughter's birthday but the pier was in a pretty poor state last time we went. Thanks for answering x
