Rough rides
Sep. 2021 • Couples
The rides seem to getting worse and worse over the years. The Big One, Grand National and The Big Dipper literally shook my fillings out. So bumpy and rough and felt slightly unsafe at some points.

Seems expensive for what the actually is. Only spent about 3 hours in total at the park as we’d rode all the adult rides we wanted to.

Will give it a few year pass now.

Very invasive of privacy
Sep. 2021 • Family
I went with my sister yesterday and the park was very quiet so not really any wait times for the rides. Used some Tesco club points when buying the tickets so only paid £15 for two tickets. The park was clean probably due to the fact it was so quiet.
Only issues were was the bag search when entering the park, the guy who searched our bags took stuff out and laid everything on the table. Our bags are small so not much can fit in them anyway. But as women, especially a student, found it very invasive of privacy. Even the small inside zipped pocket were sanitary products was searched. Fair enough they have to search for weapons and stuff but nowhere else eg Alton Towers or theatres go through the bags like this guy did. We did open the bags fully for him to look inside but it was too much. He didn’t even say anything either, I’d have asked for a female attendant to do the search if they are being that invasive. No smile or thanks from him. Half the staff inside the park were friendly and some didn’t seem happy to be there.

good day out
Sep. 2021 • Couples
great day out. introduction of fast passes does make normal queuing a lot longer though. would be better to go back to what it was before.
test seat which they have in florida parks could be advantageous, to see if you will fit. new icon ride, larger guys that are particularly muscular in legs may have issue being strapped in, so a warning as you may be queuing for approx 30-40mins before being told you cant ride. also older rollercoasters have a partician in middle so if you have a larger bottom than most, you may find it a bit uncomfortable/ bot of a squeeze. apart from that, great day out

Great rides and friendly staff
Sep. 2021
The park has lots of great rides to choose from and plenty of places to sit down and relax. We visited midweek, so did not have an issue with queuing as these were at a minimum. We managed to get on all the thrill rides, our son going on them more than once. The best rides are Fusion, Icon and The Big One, though we also had fun on the older Big Dipper and children's rides too. A truly enjoyable trip to a theme park.

Absolutely awful. Avoid
Sep. 2021 • Couples
Absolutely awful and in need of serious updating and investment. We stopped doing rides as we did not feel safe. It is absolutely filthy - the side of ride tracks had discarded masks, bottles and other rubbish piled up. The rides are rickety and throw you about, even on the children's coasters. The amount of rust on the rides was shocking!
If it wasn't for the Wallace and Gromit ride, it wouldn't be worth any stars.

A fun filled day midweek
Sep. 2021
We visited midweek and were able to go on all the top rides more than once and queues were at a minimum. The only negative was that they need more vegan options at the food outlets.

Only wanted one ride.
Sep. 2021 • Friends
I’m sure the whole pleasure beach is fun but it didn’t match our needs as we only wanted the one ride and didn’t want to spend a lot of time there and £46 was not value for one ride.

Fun day out
Sep. 2021 • Friends
Booked ourselves a weekend away in Blackpool to visit the pleasure beach. Of course the big one is the main attraction (which was awesome!) but a couple of other very good rides being Icon and Revolution.
We were slightly disappointed with inversion as it does rattle you around a lot but nothing compared to the grand national. Be warned riding that one, you will end up with bruises and maybe even a bad back!!
Queues were pretty low, no more than a 20 minute wait for anything which was great! There’s plenty in the way of food and drink choices for everyone and at reasonable prices.
Ticket price itself was about average for a theme park
All the staff around the park were helpful and friendly.
Keen to see the new ride in 2022 so may visit back for that!

Amazing
Sep. 2021 • Family
Visited here Sept 21, 4 adults 2 kids under 7, absolutely brilliant, weather amazing and due to kids being back at school it was so quiet (we took kids out of school for the week, sorry not sorry after last 18 months). Never waited longer than 5 mins in a queue and got on majority of things we wanted to get on, rides for all ages, it's easy 20 year since I last visited and new rides icon and infusion were absolutely brilliant, loved the Wallace and Gromit ride also, a brilliant place, ghost train done for nostalgic purposes

Love this place, so much to see and do, if you visit this time of year when quiet you can nearly walk onto any rides with minmal wait time, had an awesome day with my mate and hope to get back real soon, Riding the big one after a tipple was great fun
