The Blackpool Model Village is a smallish attraction. It offers a scale model interpretation of a model town, with churches, workplaces, shops, school, prison, castle and hotels etc. Like the best model villages it doesn't convey reality but an idealised version of it. It perhaps misses a trick by being contemporary with the vehicles used when had it gone for... More

We went to the model village to see what it was like, we had already walked through Stanley park and decided to have an ice cream, so the model village had it all. The staff were polite and welcoming, we bought our ice cream and walked round the gardens with it. Some of the models were very intricate and well... More

Hasn't been here in years & brought my children today. Well they absolutely loved it. We were given a quiz sheet on arrival along with an Easter bunny hunt sheet. The quiz sheet ensures you visit the whole attraction and it is well thought out (despite comments to the contrary I read before we went). We spent a good 2... More

Today was my first ever visit to Blackpool Model Village and to be honest I was rather disappointed. We had a what can only be described as quiz to do as we walked round. I think a map directing you were to walk would have been better, a couple of times we got confused with where things were. Would I... More

This attraction needs some tlc to bring it a reasonable level, the water features were low and covered in algae, there was a person mowing the grass areas, with empty containers just laying around. Out of three railways, 1 was working. We could see where buildings had been removed. The route guide/ quiz was handy, it made sure you saw... More

We took our disabled grandson to this attraction. Good parking, super little garden with lots of buildings and displays. They even had an Easter bunny hunt with prizes at the end. A real treat for littlies.

Expected more international miniatures but it is acually showing normal village life buildings in minis. The treasurehunt expierence is a nice idea and makes you look closer and not miss anything. Nice little touches. Definitely nice to see and a bit different fromt the usual Blackpool sights

What a lovely little attraction near Stanley Park. Myself and my partner bought tickets to try and visit everything we could and I'm glad we visited here. We followed the quiz that your given in the shop which made the walk more interesting and I loved the added touch of the seven dwarfs scattered around they village. A truly lovely,... More

This is really great place to visit. Two years ago after reading the reviews I thought that it is not good place to visit. And thank God, that this year my daughter insisted on visiting. I was absolutely surprised because this place is like a little paradise. It is nice and quite, the models and paths in the garden are... More

We popped into the model village after our visit to the zoo as it's only a 15 minute walk round the corner. We loved it. We got a little quiz sheet which helped us navigate round and also we were looking for moles so we could win a little prize which is great fun for the kids. The doubts are... More
