Dirty
Jun. 2021 • Solo
Dirty and rundown arcade and the machines are chipped so they never pay out. Part of same company ( smile for miles) which own rigged rundown arcades in wethensea and cleethorpes. Plenty of better arcades on the front avoid this one

September 2020 visit
Sep. 2020
I was walking down the sea front and came across this amusements, which did not need you to register your details. The staff was friendly, and helpful. They open until quite late at night.

Disgusting
Sep. 2020 • Family
Disgusted with Funland, no security to monitor the new Covid entrance/exit, no hand sanitisation points, very few wearing masks. We left quickly and went to Coral Island, much safer

Cornavirus Visit with family
Aug. 2020 • Family
Because of Cornavirus this arcade was shocking upon entering it was a free for all there wasn't any security or staff monitoring how many people were coming into the arcade.

There were also very few hand sanitizer stations although i did have my own anyway which was a good job. I also didn't see any staff cleaning any of the equipment.

Disabled wise this arcade definitely isn't disabled friendly toilets are upstairs and couldn't see any disabled toilet downstairs also there wasn't any lift i could see so if you are wheelchair bound or use a scooter/ limited mobility then you will have two flight of stairs to come down of. The escalators are only for going up.

Our lovely Covid Blackpool trip of 2020 .We wandered to Funland who also had please use one door in and one door exit ( no one bothered following instructions) out policy and masks asked to be worn like all places should . The staff were helpful if not a bit fed up , most people we noticed after a while were not wearing a mask not even the staff so we took ours off before passing out as it was so humid. At least it had loos :) vital when anywhere with kids but 30p turnstile that jammed so ended up 60p lol :) One lady told her child through gritted teeth force a pee as she had paid 30p for her to do so lol :) Spent about £15 plus attempting to get a tearful child a toy but left with two bags of 10p Haribo , typical rigged macines !

Absoluty disgusred and horrified
I am disabled and struggled to walk up 2 flights of stairs to the toilet only to be met by a turnstyle. I have CPTSD and was horrified by this prison bars contraption. in the result of a fire how could I escape also due to tecno failure I felt I would be trapped.. very scary very disability discrimination and will NEVER visit again. I understand that they wish to keep the toilets free for customers only but this is an insult to any customer. well Funland stick your toilets and your stairs and we spent our money in the adjoining amusements and will discourage all friends and family from visiting your amusements. btw I lived in Blackpool for years and have never witnessed sucha hostile environment re toilets.. shame on you so peeps spend your money at Coral Island or Mr B's and I must add The Fish Factory next door is amazing 5 star health and Hygiene rating and free toilets disabled friendly and baby changing fiendly Funland you treat your customers appalingly and we shall never return

Grumpy Ticket Kiosk Staff
Nov. 2018 • Friends
A bog-standard amusement arcade, but the bespectacled member of staff (female; curly hair) in the ticket redemption kiosk at about 4pm on Friday 2nd November was particularly unfriendly. She was short-tempered with the customers before my brother went to claim some prizes, and she wasn’t quite all smiles and sunshine with him, either. Since this is a role where staff will often be working with children, I didn't consider this attitude to be acceptable.

Make sure you have change and enjoy what's there
Oct. 2018 • Couples
I get there's little staff but it didn't stop me and my girlfriend enjoying our time there. We avoid ticket games usually and even when we go on them, it's to beat each other's scores so we don't really need staff when it comes to arcades. Best thing to do is go over to Coral Island for change, have a bit of fun there and work your way back.

I have very fond memories of going here so i'd be lying if I said there wasn't any nostalgia factor but there is one thing that made it for us and that was the arcade bowling upstairs. As long as you just go for whats there and you have change on you, it's a good place to go. I can't vouch or fail the toilets and food as we didn't use them or get anything. If it is true, that does upset me and it would definetely drop my review to poor.
