Watermead is a popular place to walk with dogs and take children. There's plenty of open space and the park is huge. Facilities are lacking though and parts are a bit run down.

A nice park, but looks overall facilities e.g no bike hire, lack of walking information, so much more could be done to this park to make it a great experience. It seems popular and parking can be difficult on sunny warm days

Great walking on proper paths and lovely scenic views over the lakes. Pay to park so make the most of your day. Footpaths and cycle paths all the way into Leicester should you want a longer walk.

I am so lucky to live 100 yards from an entrance to this park. Great for a jog or a quiet wander. Often used by dog walkers and families with children. Great for the summer sun, but equally accessible for all in winter as main...More

Lots of dog walkers use the park and I have seen dogs go into the lake.
