We went here on a trip with school due to the fact it's part of the GCSE course. It was extremely knowledgeable and gave lots of opportunities to find out new things you didn't already know. Being able to see the Magna-Carta was a priveledge, and having access to the prisons and activities rooms made it entertaining and engaging while... More

Took my elderly parents and enjoyed the improved displays. The magna carta display was accessible to someone with reduced mobility . It was a cold day but the coffee shop was a welcome stop to warm us up.

My husband bought the dual ticket for the Cathedral and the Castle. You can have the audio tour which is very informative and walk the castle walls. To many school children hanging around the toilets for my liking. Should be supervised. But worth a visit.

Really enjoyed walking the walls, and really loved seeing the Magna Carta. Prison was cool. If you're in Lincoln I recommend going, and it's right next to the Cathedral (you can get a joint ticket)

Ashamed that having lived here a long time, I've never been along the castle walls. Definitely worth the £5 entry fee. Gives an amazing view of the cathedral and rest of the city. Grounds are beautiful too!

We visited during a food festival set in the castle grounds and came away with a brace of pheasant as well as local sausages and cheeses. Very enjoyable, enhanced by the lovely setting.

We visited on a cold day but braved the wall walk with its great views of the cathedral, the city and beyond. We found the old prison fascinating, with disturbing stories of the treatment of those who had committed minor crimes.
