Stopped by here after visiting Strawberry Field to take a photo of the famous tombstone that inspired the song written by Paul McCartney. Very nice to see it in person after seeing it in photos for many years. Just be sure to be respectful when you do visit as this is the final resting place for many.

I departed downtown Liverpool, via the bus, and made my way into the Quarry section in Woolton. From there I walked a short distance to St. Peter's Church. The grave of Eleanor Rigby was not difficult to locate. It was a very somber moment - and a great experience for this Beatles fan.
