we visited this area each day in our Liverpool trip, truly fascinating story of the docks and the people of the area told in the museums around the dock area. We walked around in the winter sun and enjoyed the scenery very much. We stopped for tapas at a restaurant on the dock, it was excellent.

perhaps the tatty "souvenir shops" should be shut down! keep moving or have beatles tunes stuck in your head. seek out the ferris wheel - thats definitely worth a go. or have a nosey in a restored ship or tugboat.

Really a very nice place in Liverpool. Although it was cold when we went there we had good time, we went to a couple of museums nearby and we had a decent lunch in one of the restaurants there, recommended

I guess I expected a dismal dock area! Surprise! It is so vital and lovely! Lots of place to eat and lots of interesting areas to walk around and just enjoy the day!! Very picturesque!

Situated less than a minutes walk from Anfield, very nice bar and cheap drink. Only negative was lack of seating but I presume this was removed to accommodate home/away fans for pre-game
