We visited the Casbah as part of our Fab Four Taxi Tour (Macca Tour). It was incredible. It is an additional £15 (£7.50 for kids) for entry and the tour, conducted by Rory Best and his wife. Rory is the brother of Pete Best who...More

We visited this site as part of a Beatles tour. Rory Best's stories and leisurely tour were delightful. It was quite surreal to see ceilings painted by John, Paul, George and Pete Best and to stand in the rooms where the Quarrymen and later the...More

It was great. Well worth the price. If you don't do any other Beatle stuff in Liverpool, do this. One of the highlights of our trip to England. Roag is very cordial. So is the caretaker (who let us on the property before it was...More

Authentic, captivating, funny, and a brilliantly articulated not so well known story. As a resident of Liverpool it's a well hidden gem. Roag, and the CasBah, stunning jewels in our crown.

Where do you pick up the taxi from and how much is it? I'm visiting the week after next and am doing the tour of the Mendips and Beatles homes in the morning, and The Casbah in the afternoon so I don't want to be late. How long did the journey take? Thanks, Carolyn

I was staying at the Albert Dock so got a bus from Liverpool One bus station. Can't remember details now but if you use Google Maps and put where you want to go from and to, it gives options to drive, walk, or use public... More

Can you just turn up at the casbah for a tour or are they always fully booked. And is it worth paying the extra to see the memorabilia we are thinking of visiting next month

I would call ahead and let them know what time you will be there so they can set up a tour. I would pay the extra as you will be shown Beatle memorabilia that the plain tour doesn't see. For the true Beatle fan it's worth... More
