Recently restored listed building. What a transformation! The Picton Library in the Round is just like the British Library reading room. The new addition is stunningly modern! Awesome. Outside cafe and terrace add are fab! A must see if in Liverpool.

Lovely building - ensure you go to the top to get lovely views from the terrace over the City. Cafe if you fancy a refreshment break. Loads of PCs which may have 'guest' access for those of you missing your online fix!

The guide on the tour bus recommended a visit to the reading room at the library. Well worth the visit. You go into the new part up the escalator and turn right.. Watch out for noisy tourists... Unbelievable some people!

My daughter and I visited as we were told the quiet room in the library was a must see. It was definitely worth the visit, the room was stunning, looking up at the ceiling was breathtaking. You must go and see this building.
