I visited here as I had read other reviews on tripadvisor, as I was passing decided to pop in. Beautiful building both old & new, the reading room with its circular shape & old wooden shelves was stunning a must see!

An excellent library where old meets new. From the beautiful exterior a modern interior awaits which further contrasts nicely with the restored Picton Reading Room, etc.

Huge library, honestly one of the biggest and most impressive ones I have ever been too. It's worth visiting just to see it but also a good place for working and studying.

Stunning design, just how you would picture a library. So quiet and peaceful. The modern library was breathtaking as you walked in with its amazing atrium. Very well stocked and brilliant access to internet.

Worth a visit if you are nearby, this is on the route of the hop on hop off bus so you can visit St George's Hall and the museum from the same stop.

This library blends the old collections with contemporary design and innovative thinking. As you enter the traditional facade you are "blown away" with how modern the interior is!!! Fantastic example of the integration of old and new!!! I loved the library!!!
