Loads to do and see, I recommend a visit to the shop were you can purchase a slab of Mr Thompsons Ormskirk Gingerbread, great way to end the day, definitely be back

Well worth a visit, we went in July and the weather was lovely. It has a maize, nice gardens, cafe. There is a guide in each of the rooms to explain the history of Speke Hall. Then travelled to Liverpool only approx 8 miles away....More

I would say about 3-4 hours the house and grounds, afterwards having lunch or afternoon tea. Its a day out really, weather permitting of course. Even if its cold its still a beautiful place to visit .

No there is a cost for all as the money is put back into the up keep of the place and its a huge place to look after.

The gardens open at 10.30 the hall opens at 12.30 :-)
