RIBA Liverpool City Tours tell the story of Liverpool past, present and future through the buildings and public spaces that make up the city. RIBA guides will lead a walking tour that puts the spotlight on key buildings and spaces that form part of the contemporary city landscape, its characters, its commerce and its culture. We offer four tours: 'Gateway to the World' (Sundays and Wednesdays), 'City of Culture, Learning & Faiths' (Saturdays), 'Sculpture, Culture & Civic Pride' (first and third Thursdays of the month) and 'The Ropewalks: Growth, Decline & Regeneration' (second and fourth Fridays of the month).

We went on two tours on successive days, and I would highly recommend both if you are even mildly interested in architecture and history. Faith, learning and culture took in both cathedrals, university buildings, theatres and an amazing pub. Gateway to the world covered some...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of The Ropewalks today. Our guide, Pat, was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. The tour was very educational and I think in the future we will walk with our heads looking skywards, you see so much more! Highly recommended, thank you.

Ours was sculpture, culture and civic pride. Not a lot of walking just around St George's hall and library area.

Call the central Tourist Information Centre, you can book thru them. Very interesting tour with lots of historical tour, well worth booking so many hidden buildings to find in Liverpool.
