I have been going the Empire for years and love the theatre and the variety of shows. Staff friendly and when seeing Sam Bailey last week they dealt with a very drunk loud person efficiently. My only criticisms of the Empire are the toilets and the drink prices ! You know you will pay a bit more at the theatre... More

Visited the empire theatre with family on St Patrick's day to see a BeeGees tribute show. We decided to go for drinks prior to the show never again very very expensive. A small glass of citta pinot gri £7.60 our total order came to close on £14 for 2 soft drinks and a wine. We didn't let the bar experience... More

Manage to get to the Empire at least once a month, so many different shows to see and tickets are reasonable priced and we now know the seats that give a little extra leg room!! or aisle seats for when you just have to get up and dance x Added bonus is your drinks and sweets can be brought to... We had seats in the lower circle, the view was fine. Seats were comfortable enough but we were glad to stretch our legs at the interval. We arrived slightly early for a pre show drink, now we know theatre prices are normally a bit higher than pubs but we felt these were exceptional. £36 for 3 small glasses of wine,... More

Well, what a fab show. Can't wait for it to return next year. One of the best venues to go and see a show or musical in liverpool.

Although it looks a bit tired, I have seen plenty of shows here, all of them stalla musicals. From Rocky Horror to Dirty Dancing and King and I to West Side Story. If you're looking for early evening entertainment, this is the perfect place to start. A very casual atmosphere.

This theatre is set just on the edge of the city centre, I have seen many great musicals on here, only down side is the cost of the bar, my advice would be to bring your own refreshments as the prices are astronomical.

The theatre is beautiful. The bar is not. The prices they charge are disgusting. How can they justify the prices? If you want a drink, visit a bar before you go the see a show.

We went to see Million Dollar Quart at the Empire. Lovely theatre which I have been to many times. The theatre was refurbished and the new bar is really nice with large glass windows allowing a panoramic view of the streets below. We arrived early to have a relaxing drink before the show and order drinks for the interval. There... More
