We went to the Star Wars Identities exhibition at the O2. The exhibition itself was fun and interesting to see the Star Wars costumes and models. It was also the first time we had been to the O2 and it really is an iconic venue and an amazing building. It is very easy to get to on the Jubulee Line... More

We just went to see Craig David and we choose the deck seating area!! The view was really good! There was so much space!! Everyone was standing however we all kneeled on the chairs! We got a voucher and we got to order 2 things from the menu! So either 2 foods or 2 drinks or 1 drink and 1... More

Hade dinner in the VIP room at the Craig David gig.Absolutely terrible service, we were sat down and just left, had to ask to be served for drinks, then ask to order, we had the small bites which were quite tasty, but then the empty plates were just sat there for ages while waiters and waitresses all walked past us... A great place to visit in a great location, close to a tube station. Many restaurants in so you can eat before you do any activities. I watched the UFC here and it was great, drinks were £6 a pint but you can't complain. Staff were friendly and although I expected big queues they were dealt with quickly. Next visit... More

Just got the DLR to go to the "Emirates Flight", had a walk around. There is much to do if there is nothing on a the arena. Walk across the roof of the dome. Looks Scary. Our highlight was SKYLIVE very enjoyable bit of fun especially for the kids. You can present the news, have picture take with stars so... More

Shocking service at the VIP restaurant. The waitress spilt a beer all over me and my coat on the back of the chair. I now smell like a brewery. Our food came out look warm and when we ordered a drink it took more than 8 minutes to arrive. When we complained we got a mild 'sorry'. Totally unacceptable service.... More

This entertainment venue offers a large arena for big acts and houses a smaller concert venue and lots of restaurants. We have visited the main arena for acts like Michael Buble, Take That and Peter Kaye but this trip was to watch The Wailers at the Indigo which proved to be a smaller, more intimite venue housed within the O2... We went to see Strictly Come Dancing at O2 - a good show - even if we were right at the back and had to look at the screens from a distance. The mall is very draughty. Excessive queues for all restaurants and cafes - even if it was pre-booked - massive crowds of those coming out of the O2... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
