I've reviewed Kings Place before but last night I attended part of the "Bach & The Paradigm of Perfection" weekend so a 22.00 concert on Bach's 42 Preludes & Fugues was simply divine. It's even more atmospheric at this hour than during the daytime or early evening. The seats and spacing is very well done and though I had a... More

I attended one of Schubert Ensemble's concerts in Kings Place (part of a 6-concert series), and was pleasantly surprised by the totally unexpected concept, where the concert starts with Ensemble’s highly-acclaimed ‘Behind the Notes’ sessions, in which they describe the entire history behind every piece performed. The actual venue is quite elegant and has a great acoustic, although the seats... More

Visited here with my partner Claire when she attended a classical music course and we were both impressed not only with the venue itself but also the on site facilities such as the cafe and bar in the venue Good quality food in the cafe well presented and the coffee is divine

Wonderful venue for concerts and lectures. Located behind Kings Cross Railway station, it has two halls. Both are small and intimate and the acoustics in the concert venue are spectacular. Visitors to London should look up what's playing there if interested in Classical Music in particular.

Kings Place at 90 York Way, London has two halls though I've only been to concerts in the main hall, Hall 1. It's relatively new, built in 2008. The Hall is very intimate. It only has 420 seats but they're comfortable and have excellent leg room (I believe Hall 2 seats 220). It's in the shape of a double cube,... More

This new concert location seems to have appeared out of the blue. The two concert halls are in the lower level with conferencing facilities and office in the remainder of the building. As such, it's not particularly obvious or even welcoming as a concert venue and we walked right past it first time not realising the concert hall was buried... More

Been going to KP since about 6 months after build handover, usually for concerts in eithee Hall 1 (posh) or Hall 2 (more informal). And of course the whole area has changed beyond recognition in that time (meaning property was a very sound investment). In the summer the outside seating that borders the canal is very popular and the catering... More

Attended full day conference with group of colleagues. My first visit to the venue and it is a great location and facility for conferences/workshops. Audio visual systems are great, staff are friendly and efficient and good quality refreshments/lunch. If there is a downside, the auditorium seats are a little cramped but this is a small point.

I was lucky enough to be asked to speak at the event held this week in Kings place. If the experience of the venue as a normal delegate is pretty cool, as a speaker, it is spectacular. The green room, the av, the stage - its all top notch!

This is a great music venue and ideal for someone like Seth Lakeman when we visited. The problem is style over substance. The music venue downstairs has very few seats while you are waiting ,the doors did not open when advertised, the act did not come on when he was supposed to which left a lot of people queueing for... Thank you for your feedback and I will share this with the team. We do apologise for the time you had to wait to be served, this is not the level of service we strive to achieve, unfortunately the bar can get very busy before a concert. We also have the Rotunda bar on-site as an additional option to enjoy... More
