Bought this as a present for my husband (both massive Who fans), and was really pleased with how it went. So lucky to have lovely weather and a great crowd of other fans to go round with. Our tour guide Dewi was great; projected his voice well (could tell he had trained in drama), was very knowledgeable and able to... More

This was simply brilliant! Michael, our guide, was personable and fun, as well as deeply knowledgeable about all things Bond. Will return and bring others, and give it our highest recommendation!

Great tour guide, and an excellent tour of central London! I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes fan (books) and this tour was very much up my alley. Well done!

Our guide, Dewi, gave us a superb tour of lots of amazing London sights, tying in the real history and the locations used in Doctor Who. Clear explanations, even for those whose first language isn't English. He looked after our group of thirty extremely well. Highly recommended for any fan.

Our guide Dewi (Welsh David or Dafydd) was phenomenal. Not just an uber Dr Whovian geek, he's a superb story teller. His pictures and tales, like meeting Peter Capaldi, added the perfect spice to the day. This was a really fun and unstuffy way to see the sights of central London - London Bridge, the Tower, St. Paul's, Trafalgar Square,... More

I took the Sherlock Holmes Walking Tour with my family on a recent visit to London. I am a lifelong Sherlock Holmes fan and this has been on my bucket list for a long time. I was not disappointed. Our tour guide Amber did a fantastic job taking us to sites related to Sherlock Holmes from the past through the... More

This tour visited the film locations for the BBC 1995 production of Pride and Prejudice, a favourite film of mine. I loved every minute. It was superbly organised and run by Classic British Drama Tours. Our host had a very warm, friendly approach, and we were treated like family. U It was made more special by all the extras thrown... GOOD NEWS! You can finally stop searching for the best movie tour service. This review is long overdue. There is nothing more luxurious than getting to go into the sets of your most adored stories with a company that takes care of all the small details like entry tickets and food and transportation. Dewey treated us like royal friends, and... More

Meeting in the famous Blind Beggar boozer for a swift pint before departing in a two and half tour of Whitechapel gangster and film set hotspots. Our guide Stephen Marcus alias Nick the Greek from lock stock was full of knowledge about the Krays and other dodgy villains, plus films which were shot around the area. Loved every minute, Stephen... More

I had no idea that so many scenes from Harry Potter were filmed in central London. Our guide Val was very knowledgeable about both Harry Potter, and general London attractions. Her enthusiasm was infectious and we had a very enjoyable 3 hours.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
