We arrived in London the morning of Feb 6th on the overnight train from Glasgow. We planned to check into our flat and head straight to the tour. There was a mix-up with the driver and we were going to be late at the meeting point. We called and Chris informed us that he'd let our guide know and they'd... More

This was just a lovely way to spend a morning in central London. We had "done the sights" several times on previous visits but never quite like this. The narrative to this "Grand London" tour was supplied by our excellent guide, Charlie, who had a fascinating anecdote or two at every stop and really kept us entertained throughout. More importantly... More

Thanks BrakeAway Bike Tours for a brilliant day. We were a party of 3, my brother and my 14 years old son. Our guide couldn't have been better, we got everything from a Shakespeare recital, an Irish poem to a David Bowie song!! When it rained we were offered ponchos to wear. Cheers Paul👍 Would definitely recommend.

The tour guide was very friendly and cheerful enough to make me enjoy the tour. That's why I went around London for about 4 hours but I did not feel that tired! What I liked most was the things that they only have ; the smallest police station and the oldest wig store! I think that makes this tour special... More

This is a fantastic tour! Our guide Paul was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He kept us engaged the whole time. It was a great way to see lots of places very quickly and get a good lay of the land. I'm an avid bike tour person. It's pretty much what I recommend doing when arriving to a city and this... More

The bikes were easy to ride and great fun. Our guide, Mark, was really knowledgeable and witty. A great way of getting around to see lots of sights, gain a bit of history and keep my son happy, all at the same time. Well worth every penny. Would highly recommend.

Every year we organise a company trip as ways of a teambuilding. In 2016 we chose London as our destination and one of our activities was the BrakeAway Bike Tours. It was one of our best ideas ever! Our Dutch speaking guide knew she was talking about, she had a great sense of humour. She took us to places in... More

I did the Grand Bike Tour of London and really enjoyed seeing things I've never seen before. I've lived in the UK in the past (for ten years) and visited London many, many times. But the tour did a good job of showing you the classic items but always with a different angle or included things nearby that were off... More
