My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable day with Colin at Bath, Stonehenge, and a Secret Place! The experience end-to-end was so memorable, even driving between destinations was so beautiful. Really appreciate how small the tour is - I never felt like we were sheeple. We made a new friend in Colin who so kind, informative, and funny!

I can't express enough how enjoyable the entire day was for my wife, two little girls, and me on The English Bus tour. Johnny punctually arrived at the designated pickup spot at the London Eye. Despite our tour being on a tight schedule, He was considerate enough to wait a few more minutes for a couple Canadian tourists to arrive,... More

Thoroughly enjoyed a day tour to Stonehenge, Bath and a secret location. Comfy drive in a Mercedes Sprinter van with great visibility, smooth ride, USB ports for each seat, complimentary water, ponchos and umbrella use if needed. Collin was knowledgeable about the areas, with funny quips throughout the day and he always was concerned with our comfort. I enjoyed the... More

Colin was our driver and he was great, it was sad to leave him, like we were saying goodbye to a new friend. The trip was just the right length, got some great photos, comfortable bus. We miss you, Colin!!!

We had Colin for our Stonehenge, Bath, and Secret Place tour. First off, I love tours like this and hate (most) big bus tours. Here you get a small, super nice, bus with only like 16 people, so the group is very manageable. You also get very nice and approachable guide/driver. Basically the tour is a nice ride to a... More

Easily the best tour bus I've been on. All commentary throughout was engaging and kept us going between stops. Jonny has a natural way of making everybody feel welcome and included and there was never a dull moment throughout the day. Our secret stop on the way home was even better than expected, definitely a great way to see Stonehenge... More

So enjoyed this tour. We were thoroughly informed and entertained by our guide, Johnny, who made our day one to remember. His driving was superb, his stories informative and his humour was incredible. The small size bus and group made the tour more appealing to me as got to go places big buses can't and you were treated as individuals... More

Stonehenge and bath were amazing in there own right but Johnny really made the day. Would do the tour again just to experience his extensive knowledge of the United Kingdom, welcoming nature and hilarious commentary. The program is structured to give you enough time in each area and many stop-offs along the way for sightseeing and food. All the best... More

I've been on three tours with The English Bus now and I'll keep coming back until I've tried them all! The company keeps exceeding my expectations and they've changed the way I do day tours. Now I always look out for companies that do small-groups instead of those conglomerate companies that pack people onto giant coaches like cattle and treat... More

We just did The English Bus’ tour to Bath, Stonehenge, and a Secret Place. It was fantastic, and way better than one of the larger bus tours! I’d highly recommend booking with The English Bus. Our tour guide, Colin, was absolutely wonderful, and made an excellent day even better. He was knowledgable and witty, and knew how to engage our... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
