As we toured London in the first half of July this year we couldn't see the palace from inside as it opened after 21st July,,but even from outside it looks gorgeous. Beautiful architecture.

We were fortunate to catch the State Room Tour two days before the Queen returned from Scotland. I understand there's only a very short time during the year that touring inside is possible, but I am SO glad we were able to do it. We...More

It really is stunning, especially with all of the gold around the palace. A must see when visiting London for sure.

Absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough to visit when Buckingham Palace is open to the public. I prebooked my tickets to guarantee a spot. The security is just like airport security and took about 45 minutes to get through. You even have to switch off...More

We walked down from Trafalgar Square and saw the horse guards trotting down the Mall. There were lots of tourists outside the palace. Good place to visit the outside.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
