I've never been to any Sea Life centres prior to this visit and what an experience! It's everything you would expect and more! Also I would have loved to have taken a Penguin home!

My first time in an aquarium and I LOVED it the music as you walk around the different settings for the fish such as the south pole penguins and the rainforest fish! From start to finish it was so enjoyable and all the kids around us were so mesmerised by the fish it was just an overall amazing experience!

We have visited in November. Dont get scared by the price as it is worth every penny. I was amazed with the attention for detail in the description on the sea life creatures and how they are kept. The best thing about it is the awareness of the environment and how we are changing it with pollution. the cherry on... More

We went here last summer and really enjoyed it, sadly this time was not as good. We arrived at half three and after queueing and paying were then told to come back at half four for our turn. Would have been nice to be told this before we paid. Thankfully there is a park round the corner and the views... More

We have visited various other Sea Life Centres but seeing as this one is in central London we, (possibly wrongly) hoped it would be better than the others. It was ok, the penguins were the best bit but overall just another aquarium.

My boyfriend and I thought that this aquarium was amazing. It has a beautiful setup and many interesting creatures! The atmosphere was relaxed and it was honestly more than worth it just to see the giant sea turtles! Would definitely recommend for people of all ages.

We did not have to pay as we got free tickets from a newspaper, for which I am pleased as at nearly £25 for an adult I think I would of been disappointed, lots of fish in different zones, sharks and penguins. It is quite big, and although it said no flash photography many people were, didn't see many staff... More

Not very impressed with how old fashioned and dated it is. I brought my ticket online (it was cheaper) when I got there I showed my ticket on my phone and was told I needed to print it.... they let me send it to someone that worked there so they could print it, this took nearly an hour.... what's wrong... Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
