I've just been a guest with my daughter and 20 other Brownies overnight on the ship. The staff were really welcoming and the activities put on were very appropriate for their age; all the girls liked getting into costume as well. The actors were so...More

Smaller than expected. Looked cool. Really nice market close by for good eating and cookies. Cafe nero and pub close to river whilst you look at it.

Thank you for your review. Imagine sailing on it around the world with 60 - 80 other crew members as Sir Francis Drake did, she would have certainly felt small then! We hope you come visit us again as we will be planning various events.

As family of 5, including 3 children, found this to be very enjoyable. Good information given out as we go onto the ship. Certainly transported you way back in time. We were surprised how deep the vessel went. Obviously, as you would expect, quite cramped...More

It's stuffed in a little space on the water, but you will get a good idea of its size and appointments. It fills that visual niche of Sir Francis Drake and his challenges. Somehow it deserves a better location and more appealing information on such...More

I turned a corner and there she was! I didn't even know beforehand that it was there. A very good replica of the original. Impressive little piece and to think something this size sailed around the world. Impressive

Stopped off here on river route to Southwark Cathedral. Beautiful sight early morning and no crowds so could just walk around at leisure. Full size reconstruction of the galleon. Really think kids would enjoy this, especially the Francis Drake aficionados.

I spent an hour exploring this replica of Sir Francis Drakes ship. It is amazing to realise that he and his crew circumnavigated the earth in such a small ship. It gives one an idea of what great men these were.

Well, it's a bit more than just a boat as it is a replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship. Can be a little tricky getting tickets, as the shop is a little further down the road, Still, it's pretty good to explore, though a little...More

My 9 year old son has become somewhat obsessed with Sir Francis Drake following an explorers project at school. He was over the moon to see the Golden Hinde. OK, so it's a replica....but it's a perfect looking one and feels steeped in history. We...More
