As the title probably gives away, we could not have been happier with this tour service. We booked two private tours just under a year in advance and could not believe how much we got to see and do. We felt sorry for others being dragged across london in groups of hundreds. It was so special having our own guide... More

This is an awesome way to see London if you don't have a lot of time. I had never been to London before. I had a whopping 8 hour layover at Heathrow Airport and I figured I should get out of the airport and into the city to see something! A google search revealed London Magical Tours. A driver and... What a beautiful way to visit London. We received a personal recommendation from a business director who used their services a few years ago. We were a bit anxious about booking 9 months in advance but there is a reason why they are popular. If you want the best way to see and learn about London, don´t think twice and... More

We love our private tour because we got to see so much in one day. They offer both a driver and tour guide. We were very please with both Graham our driver and Leila our tour guide. They provided a very personal experience away from the crowds had lots of information about the sites we visited. Having a personal guide... More

I browsed for days looking at reviews of different private tours companies and originally booked a tour through viator to Windsor Castle. I was charged a small fortune for what ended up being a driver with waiting time. This is not what we had expected. We cancelled the remaining three days of tours and our hotel concierge recommended London Magical... More

We spent three days in London and this was our trip highlight. We booked the 5 hour day tour of the city and are still talking about how much we got to see. Our guide was a local Londoner with an in-depth knowledge on everything from the royals to the beatles (perfect!) and the driver was very courteous and helpful... More

We love private tours. They offer a personal experience away from the crowds. yes they are a little more expensive (especially as were only 2) but you just cannot beat it. Magical Tours offer the unique service of being able to offer a tour guide AND a driver. This was a huge selling point for us and we would never... More

Our tour guide was Steph Black. The tour was truly magical . Steph is so knowledgable on all things Potter; books, movies, directors , JK, you name it. She is smart, funny, and tuned into her audience. She made the tour so fantastic, when it ended I just wanted more .

Note: You cannot see London in a few hours. It just isn't possible. There is so much to see and experience, and its impossible to condense all that in a 5 hour trip. Nevertheless, this was a wonderful experience. Charles our guide was excellent. He managed to show us several wonderful places, including the changing of the guard ceremony. This... More

Super job as always - very flexible since we had a long delay - stayed in communication outside business hours to make sure our group still had a fabulous layover tour! Thank you so much and we always appreciate having the fabulous guide from last year. Excellent!

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
