Upscale shopping

A lot of upscale shopping, many shops, cafes and restaurants. The main street is very long, one can spend a long time walking from one side to the other.

Chelsea is one of my favourite parts of London in the sense that it is sure to entertain you! The rich yet somewhat miserable characters that you come across will definitely put a smile on your face. I mean, come on, how much money do you need before you can afford to smile? Otherwise, Chelsea also has a cool market,... More

Part of the Kensington and Chelsea borough, Chelsea stretches near the river and is centred around King's road and it's tube station. Expect quietness after 9pm weekdays, even weekends as all the show offs living there would have went to bed. Mostly packed with foreigners who like living in Chelsea for 'status', has lots of shops and restaurants on the... More

£13.40 for a plastic glass of Pimms. This says it all about Chelsea. While the plants and the gardens are a joy to behold, it is advisable to bring your own food and drink as the rest is a total rip off.

the Chelsea Show is now becoming very tired and dated. the Rock restaurant used to be sleek and well run and the service was excellent but recently over the last few years has been a shambles - actually a joke service but the price is not. The TV presenters are scruffy and aggressive and 'in your face' - I thought... More

I have just attended on one of the members' days, Tuesday 24th May 2016. Luckily the weather stayed dry but on a more typical day you might need layers and waterproofs, I would not suggest heels, a lot is on grass which gets churned up. Even on a members' day it is still very busy and so a certain amount... More

We started our walk from Sloane Square and looked at the Saachi Gallery with the exhibition to the Rolling Stones. The street is full of shops and restaurants. The one place I have always wanted to visit is the boutique that Malcolm Mclaren and Vivian Westwood owned which called Sex which is now called Worlds End and still owned by... More

If there was one place I would like to live that place is Chelsea. This wonderful area of London is a real neighbourhood. Local shops, green spaces, super pubs, marvelous theatre and cinema and great transport links. Everything you need for City living. In 2011 we rented an appartment for 4 heavenly weeks and 2016 for 2 weeks. We will... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
