Came here to see a play last week and absolutely loved it. It's quite small from the outside but spacious and cosy inside, we had a few drinks in the bar area downstairs before going up to the theatre. I hope to see more plays here in the future.

Saw a play in early December 2016. Nice room. Great actors. The pub has a coy atmosphere. Definitely recommendable to visitors of London who see Westminster, Buckingham and stuff but never go to places like Clapham. Love that there s so much alternative theatre in Londontown.

Went to the pub with friends to see a play. Ordered 3 meals. Was told that they had no deliveries that day so no beef chop. Was given the lamb instead. Food came literally 10 mins before the theatre started... pub was not busy with diners. Only one portion of chips arrived no two. I had asked for my lamb... More

I like it. We went there to the theatre but we were too early so we had a drink at the pub. Nice place, great staff, theatre was lovely. We saw "CSI" and it was brilliant. Will come back for sure

I love this pub. Like my own business it is run as a cooperative and is friendly with a wide selection of beers. I have seen a dozen bands play here over the years I've been visiting and they've all been brilliant. It's a 20+ mile round trip cycle here for me which indicates that I'm prepared to work up... Arrived early for a performance at the theatre on the first floor, so had a half pint outside on the front terrace. Good for people-watching and it's dog-friendly; there's also a beer garden at the back. Sadly no food for sale but the atmosphere's good.

Nice friendly pub with a theater space upstairs. Don't think there was real-ale on offer when I visited. Lovely staff and friendly locals.

This review is for the theatre and not the pub. A great use of space, though it's very small, there isn't really a stage as such. Though the venue produce a quick turnover of plays which keeps the interest going. I will return.

Came here with two friends last week - didn't know what to expect but was a small audience, small cast, but loved it! Had me laughing out loud! Quite a few men there - not sure if they'd find it that funny - def one for the girls!!!! Great actors too.

I visited the Bread & Roses as I was here to see the production of "Son of Man" very good fringe theatre production {thought provoking, simple yet mentally complex}. The pub itself is clean and tidy but well worn. There's no food as they have no chef but to be fair you're 5 minutes from Clapham High Street which is... More
