I went to see Giselle, the ballet. What a stunning theater! Although I was fairly high, and on the left side of the stage, I still had a fairly good view of the performance. I sat on the benches which were pretty comfortable, but with a full theater, it was a bit tight. Don't wait until the last minute to... More

The tour was very interesting, and our guide was very knowledgable The tour laster approximately 1.5 hours, and we saw some of the dancers rehearsing, and heard the opera being rehearsed... More

Took my wife for her birthday to see Ballet The Sleeping Beauty. Never been to the Ballet before but it was amazing. Not a cheap date but I was transfixed and will be back. Preordered drinks and olives for the second interval and it all worked like clockwork in an amazing setting. Will be back.

Just the most amazing performance but then it always is. Such grace and beauty to transport into a different world. This is my annual birthday treat and we always sit the the first three rows of the stalls. A high price and if in row c invariably thwarted in part by someone's head and I am quite tall. It would... This is my all time favourite night out! It is sheer magical escapism. The building is so beautiful and the productions here are first class. I particularly enjoy the ballet .As you enter the magnificent auditorium you already feel transported to another world. The place is so wonderful with all the gilt and red velvet. It is also a great... More

First time visiting this magnificent opera house. Really enjoyed the ballet which was extremely emotional. Alessandra Ferri was amazing. Although tiny she shines expansively on the stage. Enchanting music to wash over you Brilliant

I have been to operas here ceveral times, last time in January 2017. Every time the artistic level has been excellent. Both the orchestra and the choir is on the highest level of opera. And they usually get the highest level of conductors, singers and stage directors. The great aquatic here is soft and warm. It is also very cool... More

This is a special place And everything about it says it is! The theatre is beautiful and intimate with good views of the stage The restaurants are welcoming and well geared to the production on view for your visit. They are not cheap but given the ambiance and the special occasion that is understandable. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable,... More
