After 20 min, they contacted me asking if my driver had arrived, I said no and he tried to contact him but the driver was not answering. After five minutes they contacted me again, telling me that they found another driver and he could be to me in 25-30 min.I told him that I had had no choice than waiting for the new one, but I would give them a negative review. Eventually, the other driver ( for a company that they collaborate with) appeared 10min later than the time they had told me. The guy on the phone was indifferent and I am sure while I was strongly complaining to him.about the situation he was looking at the ceiling (I don't want to use an inappropriate expression). The taxi came 12 hours early, we alerted them immediately. I don't mind paying a cancellation fee, but to pay a full fare is disgusting. Customer service were even worse, both on the phone and over email. Paying more for a middleman is something i will not do again. Contact number was to a call centre which played music for 5 minutes before saying no agent available. Dodgy reviews on trustpilot - lots of 5 star reviews from people (paid?) who gave 5 star reviews for every company they reviewed. They are hard to get hold of and when you eventually do, do not expect an apology. I booked this in 'advanced' as I knew on the day of my event the cab prices would rocket... as a result of minicabit cancelling my booking I ended up paying tripple on the day. Needless to say my taxi did not arrive when expected & on calling the taxi company I was told they had rejected the job as it was priced too low. However minicabit did not inform me, leaving me (solo female) stranded at 10.30pm at a country pub which could have put me in a very vulnerable situation. Thankfully a local taxi firm was able to assist. I’ve still not received a refund of the £25 paid for a service I did not receive & minicabit have not replied to my complaint other than the standard acknowledgment email. As parents of te bride we were one of the last to leave. Our taxi was cancelled and we were unable to find another. We were left standing in a dark country lane waiting for a relative to drive 20 miles to collect us. Booked taxi for airport only to be told half an hour after scheduled pick up time to find an alternative service as driver had a breakdown. The booking was confirmed and money left my account. On the evening of the booking the cab never showed up, leaving 6 of us completely stranded. Upon calling the cab company office that evening they informed me they had actually rejected the booking from minicabit and said they had informed them. However clearly i was never told and also no refund was given. I have been calling minicabit every day multiple times for the past 4 days and nobody ever answers the phone lines. They leave you to get to the answerphone eventually which is not helpful. I emailed them a few days ago as well and had no response whatsoever, obviously still no refund. Its disgusting how they can operate in this way - if you get a problem with a booking it won’t be rectified. Don’t go through the same experience i have and avoid at all costs. We booked a cab to take us to the train station for our trip to Manchester airport. On the morning our cab was due I had an text to say the booking had been transferred to another taxi company (Gocabs) but was still all booked in. When the cab was 5 minutes late I called them only to be told that they had never agreed to take the booking and they were not coming to us. This left us stranded as we had less than 30 minutes left to get to the station with the risk of missing our flight.
This is the worst taxi experience I have ever known and I would it was only due to chance and a helpful neighbour who helped out at a very inconvenient time in the morning that we were able to get our train.
Despite communication we have still not even received a refund of the amount paid.

We booked and pre-paid for a return journey to a fairly remote country location south of Bristol 3 weeks in advance. We were picked on time but told by the driver that it would be a different driver picking us up as he’d been assigned a more lucrative trip from which he wouldn’t return in time to pick us up. He assured us that our return trip would still be honoured (Paul’s private hire). We contacted minicabit an hour before our pick up time only to be informed that they had no drivers available. Their only response was we apologise. We were left stranded in the middle of nowhere at 11pm at night.

Do NOT use if you have early flight to catch
I booked cab. Paid for it. The driver did not turn up!
I get it sometimes things can go wrong. How you rectify is what good organisation do. Thay failed.
I had to pay over the odds for alternative transport and nearly missed my flight. The stress was unbelievable for the failure of Minicabit.
They failed to pay alternative transport or assurance that in future this will not happen in future. What I got is sorry our driver did not turn up. We will refund money. No compensation for extra expense due to their failure let alone for stress. Or we will investigate why our driver did not come.

This company is an absolute sham. DO NOT USE. They took ÂŁ75 from me for a pickup from Stansted to go home. My flight was impacted by delays due to air traffic control issues so I contacted them more than five hours in advance to tell them the issues and give them my flight number and tell them the approximate time I would be landing. They seemed friendly and understanding but when I arrived into Stansted they were not there. I called them and the driver said they had been there but had left after waiting a small amount of time. My family including 2 seven year old children were left stranded at 3am in the airport! This company have refused to refund me for a service paid for but not received.

When is minicabit going to pay the thousands of pounds in fares still owes to cab firms?

Can't answer, but all I can say is I would never use this sad excuse of a service EVER again. Left me stranded on the other side of London after I'd booked a cab through them several days before. I had to chase them for my cab, rather than them telling me it was never going to come, and they then advised me to get a friend to pick me up - in the full knowledge that I was over from Germany...
Avoid like the plague.
