This is an interesting old station both above and below ground. The station dates back to the 1850's and is worth a look. Paddington is also a central point for exploring London and links to most of the underground.

Inadequate number of toilets. 30 pence for use!! Turnstiles frequently not working. Smelly. Coin change machines sometimes a problem.

Loved the floor markings that made it easy to navigate the station upon arrival and get to the taxi stands.

This is a fast pace train station. We bought our tickets in advance and had them mailed to our home. One less thing to do when we arrived. There is shopping and dining available here. I found it better to look up our Underground links...More

Not a regular user of Paddington Station - we were travelling to Cornwall with First Class reserved seats (a gift) - unfortunately the train was cancelled. Staff of GWR were unhelpful, the First Class lounge was grubby and unpleasant. We were then herded and crammed...More

They have added automated ticket machines - if you know where you are going and use credit cards. There is still a ticket office to the far side of the platforms (left as you face the tracks) with very helpful staff. The electronic status boards...More

Assuming you mean from Paddington station, take the tube south on the Bakerloo line and change at Oxford Circus to the Victori line heading North to Euston
