Imagine-this huge Hall and Extension have been demolished. Instead it is to be housing. From the Motor Show to Smithfield and the Royal Tournament has passed into history.

Earls Court is a great area to stay in while visiting London. You have the Underground which runs directly to Heathrow. There are numerous busses to get anywhere in the city. There are numerous restaurants in the area, there are a couple of supermarkets, and hotels all within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Knocked down earls court has been demolished for a new housing development. A real shame an icon of art deco.

The neighborhood is quite interesting, I felt safe and I traveled with small children, within a couple feet you found a fast food restaurant as well as Nando delicious chicken place and cafeterias, couple stores and mini supermarket I would stay again in this neighborhood.

Popular area for cheap hotels with a lot of backpackers staying here. Mixed area with a lot of expensive residential property next to run down buildings. Handy tube station on the District/Circle line and Piccadilly Line.

This is one of my favorite districts in London considering its good hotels, nice restaurants and very good traffic connection with city center. It is a safe and quiet neighborhood, great choice while staying in London.

My best area to stay while in London.. Calm and peaceful neighbourhood.. The main station is the best choice to central London or to Heathrow airport.. Lots of hotels and accommodations to choose.. Big number of shops, restaurants, cafes and all what you require to enjoy your stay and time..

Earl's Court is a large indoor arena used for a wide variety of shows and exhibitions. Check out the schedule and see if there is something happing here while you are in London. It is easy to get to by bus or metro and is an enjoyable facility.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
